CEO’s greetings and outlook on 2025

Welcome to our new website! As we launch this platform, I am excited to reflect on the remarkable achievements of 2024 and share our vision for 2025.

2024 was a year of significant milestones for us. We launched a new strategy for 2028, emphasizing the importance of our research-based business model and data analysis to bring competitive added value to our customers. We completed a research project on applying AI in our ways of working for the benefit of our clients in terms of higher efficiency and value creation. Additionally, we hired many great new colleagues as a result of our growth.

We initiated and continued working on large consortium projects within the Business Finland Veturi framework. Our second annual Green Transport Corridors event in September was a great success, and we attended several events both as exhibitors and invited speakers. Our commitment to sustainability was evident through our exploration of zero-emission fuel solutions and our contributions to the John Nurminen Foundation.

In 2024, we observed several key trends across the industries we serve that continue to be even more relevant in 2025. In the energy sector, there was a continued focus on building out renewable energy, driven also by hydrogen and e-fuel production, alongside new EU regulations that ensure fair and transparent carbon footprint claims. The marine industry saw a push towards reducing emissions, with the introduction of ETS (Emission Trading System) and the FuelEU Maritime regulation. Electrification of shipping also gained momentum, although uncertainties around cost and availability of electricity still prevail. The land-based transport industry also experienced a strong move towards electrification, with innovative business models emerging within renewable electricity. Finally, in the experience management (XM) field, there was a significant increase in AI implementation for data collection and analysis, ironically highlighting the increased importance of human interactions and defined processes in customer experience management.

Looking ahead to 2025, we are poised to build on these successes. Our main goals involve continuing our focus on strategy and strategic business development consulting, developing and coordinating more RDI projects, and strengthening our XM business. We plan to launch several new RDI projects, expand our XM business with new services and partnerships, and continue our recruitment efforts to bring in top talent. We will also likely host a third Green Transport Corridors event in the fall, some smaller breakfast seminars during the year, and be present at several key industry events.

We envision strong growth and development in 2025. With an excellent team and customer foundation, we believe we can bring value to Finnish and other Northern European companies within our fields of expertise. We strongly believe that you can create new sustainable business from sustainability, and we are here to help you and your organizations in this endeavor. Whether it’s enhancing your customers’ experiences with data-analysis, innovating your business models, offerings, and value propositions, or collaborating with other players in your industrial ecosystem, we are committed to your success.

Thank you for your continued support. Together, we will achieve even greater heights in the coming year.

Warm regards,

Filip Franck
