DECATRIP (Decarbonizing Transport Corridors)
Case: World’s first Green Maritime Corridor
PBI developed, secured funding for, coordinated and supported the 1,5 year long DECATRIP project that was funded by Business Finland.
Our services especially focused on creating the business case and model for low-emission shipping, the evaluation of the market potential and development of the value propositions. These are needed for developing ship and infrastructure investments that enable a green shipping corridor between Turku and Stockholm primarily.
The project resulted in the World’s first Green Maritime Corridor – Turku-Stockholm.
